This is one of the most impressive photos ive seen its a perfect angle... it looks like a person screaming... like seriously. alot like a person screaming expecially at this angle you made this picture perfect id say.
It's not just the angle that grabs me. I also like the colors, and how everything squeezes together. Sort of puts you in a claustrophobic mood. And the angle does work--makes everything feel distorted.
You must add a slight grain to your images to get such a nice flat grainy tone yes? I also like how you adjust the colour a bit in the final pictures This photo I especially liked. Dunno what it was, but I wouldn't have commented on it if I didn't like it more than what I usually do lol
sorry i forgot something... expressionism was developped also because photography was rising up and made a lot of painters unemployed. the artists needed a new creation of drawing. they could not just draw landscapes or portraits. cameras did that now... so they thought well the only thing that cameras can not show are feelings... that is what they thought back then. so they exaggerated parts of their drawings to get the viewers attention and gave their drawings a lot of dramtical feelings.
Cool. My critique is it's a little bit grainy, and the colours of the very end could be improved. But I like it! And, lame though this may sound, I like the preparation of it - the border, fonts, things like that.
i agree the angle really gives the whole shot such a diffeence..
the colour is really effective.. it gives it sort of a touch of hotel mysterious look .. if that makes sence..
the nosie adds to the hotel mystory feeling too ..
The angle certainly does create a great feeling to this, emphasizing the feeling you're going after.. all the linear elements in this, especially the floor work together very well. With the spontaneous lighting above, giving spots off into this linear world, this hallway, where you can feel the scream, hear the cry..
